3. Can MAK DRDO ABD Bio Septic Tank inoculum be used in an old or existing septic tank?
No. Injecting the Anaerobic Microbial Inoculum (AMI) in the conventional or old existing tanks will not be effective. MAK DRDO ABD Septic Tanks are specially designed with chambers for microbial activity to function properly and effectively.
4. Can the outlet water be reusable?
Yes. The treated outlet water can be reused for gardening, agriculture, re-flushing, and other non-potable purposes. We recommend lab testing for exact parameters.
5. Can acid or chemical cleaning agents be used for cleaning the toilets?
No. Cleaning of toilets with acid/chemicals and cleaning agents with high concentrated ppm will affect bacterial growth and microbial balance. Use recommended cleaning agents for better results.
6. How often should the microbial inoculum be refilled?
The Anaerobic Microbial Inoculum (AMI) inside the tank is self-sustaining, hence no refilling is required with regular, consistent and proper usage.

15. Do you assist with site preparation for installation?
Yes, our team can guide or assist with site preparation. However, labour and material costs must be borne by the client.

Site visits are available after order confirmation by paying an advance amount.
17. I can’t separate kitchen/bathroom outlets from the toilet outlet. What should I do?
Separation is mandatory. The Anaerobic Microbial Inoculum (AMI) inside the tank is designed to digest only human waste (faecal matter). Grey water (from kitchen and bathroom) must be diverted separately.
18. Will you test the treated water and provide a lab report?
Yes, we can provide a lab test report on request. Testing charges are additional. Alternatively, you can also test the water at a nearby accredited lab.
